任务型阅读是介于阅读理解与书面表达之间的一种综合题型。它要求学生在阅读文章后能对其中某些细节做到准确把握或对整篇文章进行提炼概括，从而完成一项任务或解决一个问题。这种题型，既考查学生的分析理解、归纳概括以及逻辑推理的能力，又考查学生运用英语语言以文字形式正确表达的能力。

近年来，任务型阅读题的考查形式大致如下：空白填写型、回答问题型、判断正误型、改写句子型、句子翻译型和概括大意型（添加标题型）等。每篇短文后既可以按其中一种题型的形式出现，又可以同一大题内混合几种题型。

下面拟就英语任务型阅读各类题型的题型特点、考查要点以及解题技巧等方面简述如下，供同学们参考：

一、空白填写型

空白填写型阅读题是由一篇短文和一个句子、一个表格或缩写的短文组成，要求学生通过阅读短文，获取相关信息，以填写单词、短语或句子的方式完成所给的句子、表格或者缩写文。

【考查要点】

这种题型所设计的题目，主要用以考查对短文内容的概括性、准确性理解等内容。涉及短文表层含义的内容占多数，但有时也会出现1～2个分析判断短文深层意义的内容。例如：

做此类阅读时，应首先迅速阅读待填写的句子、表格或缩写文，根据其大意预测所缺内容。对于表格题而言，要特别关注文章的标题栏及表格前的小标题，这样有助于理解短文的大意。……
