Everyone has his or her own hobby. Collection is the one many people are interesting① in. They like collecting different things， such as stamps， scripts， paintings and so on. My hobby is collecting coins of different nations.

I collect coins because I treasure them as the works of art. The delicacy of a coin shows the actual strength of the nation. The coins of Switzerland， the Kingdom of clocks and watches， are the most graceful ones in all coins.

Most coins have a head portrait cast on the front side， such as American coins with the portraits of Gerorge Washington and Abreham Lincoln， Britain coins with the portrait of Elizabeth II， and some others② people who were famous in history. Some coins have the designs of buildings， animals and plants. They are symbols of their nations.

I collect coins also because I like the process of collection. A long period of time is needed in gathering one nations whole set of coins. It is very difficult of③ me to find the very coin I want. Sometimes I obtain a coin but I dont know which nation it comes from， therefore I must look around for books or ask some friends. No word can express the feelings of happiness when I finally found the value of it.

I have accumulated a great deal of knowledges④ about the history and culture of different nations through these small coins. Every coin could tell me a story as if it is my good friend. The coins I collected are my treasures. They will be my spiritual wealth in my lifetime.

1. 优点：

这篇文章结构合理，体现了形式和内容的统一。段与段之间没有过渡词，而是通过前后内容自然地衔接成篇；每段各有重点，但始终不离主题。另外，准确的词语表达和多样化的句型也为文章增添了不少光彩。

2. 需要修改的地方：

① interesting改为interested。interesting表示事物有趣， interested表示人感兴趣。

② others去掉s。这里要用形容词other修饰后面的名词people。

③ of改为for。its+adj+for sb. to do为固定结构。

④ knowledges去掉s。knowledge为不可数名词。

3. 评分：

按中考英语作文满分15分的评分标准，本文修改前可得14分。
