President Xi Jinping joins students for a discussion at the School of Marxism of Peking University in Beijing on May 2.

Xi visited the prestigious higher education institution ahead of Chinas Youth Day and the 120th anniversary of Peking University， which both fell on May 4. He called for the building of world-class universities with Chinese characteristics.
