一、活动背景

本课是《新标准英语》四（下）Module 4的第一课时，在这一模块中，主要是练习运用过去时的特殊疑问句及其答语的表达，功能句型是“What did...play?”及“...played...”，让学生知道如何用过去时询问某人以前做过什么。本课的操练对象主要是乐器和球类，讲解时应注意区分其不同。

二、活动目标

知识目标：1.掌握“四会”单词：concert，violin，guitar。

2.能理解、听懂句型：What did they play?Dad played the erhu.Mum played the pipa.

能力目标：谈论乐器，谈谈自己过去的一次经历及感受。

情感目标：学生能够运用所学主动练习和实践，通过本课的学习，激发学生对于音乐欣赏的兴趣，培养其欣赏音乐美的能力。

三、重难点分析

重点：能谈论乐器，能谈论自己过去的经历和感受。

难点：在实际生活中灵活、自如地进行语言交流。

四、活动过程

Step 1.热身活动

1.Listen and guess.

T:Listen.What instrument?

S:flute/piano/erhu/pipa

T:TheyareChineseinstrument.Doyoulikethem?Now I’ll give you a new name.Group 1，Group 2,you areerhu team.

Group 3,Group 4,you are pipa team.

2.Let’s play a game“Say the past tense quickly”.

3.Say a chant.

活动意图：为学生分组，听音猜乐器，活跃课堂气氛，为新课作铺垫。

Sept 2.任务呈现

T:Yesterday the sheep had aparty.Whatdidtheyplay?(动物演奏的课件,展示小羊们表演的场景)

T:Todaywe’lltalkabout instrument.（引出课题并板书：Dad played the erhu.）

T:What’sthis?Let’ssee the video.

Ss:This is a concert.（看女子十二乐坊的视频）

活动意图：在上课起始阶段提出任务，有利于让学生明确本节课的学习任务，目的明确。

Step 3.任务准备

Listen the text.

1.课件呈现问题：Listen the text.(CD-ROM)

T:Yesterday Lingling’s mum and dad played in the concert.Let’slisten.Whatdidthey play?（板书）玲玲的爸爸、妈妈演奏了什么？让我们一起来听听！

（1）T：What did they play?You two answer.(课件出示)

（2）What did dad play?

What did mum play?

活动意图：听录音，初步感知、理解课文。

2.教学violin/guitar/eggs。

T:Can you saytheir English names?(出示课件)

Ss:violin.（学习单词）

Ss:guitar.（学习单词）

活动意图：及时操练并学以致用，加强记忆。

3.学习句型。

T:Weknowsomanyinstruments.I have a question.

T：Do you know what does an erhu look like?

Ss:look like.（学习短语）

Ss:It looks like a violin.

T：What does a pipa look like?（出示课件）

T:Amoonlookslikea banana.Can you say like this?（教师在黑板上画一个月亮和一个香蕉并出示课件)

Ss:It looks like...

活动意图：设置情境来理解“It looks like...”，符合语言学习的认知规律和真实性原则。

（3）再放课文录音,让学生跟读、表演第一幅到第四幅图片课文内容。

（4）T:Lingling’s mum and dad played at the concert.Let’s haveaconcert,too.Whocan play?

Ss：找两位同学现场表演乐器。

T:What did×× play?

（5）T:What did he/she play?（课件出示对比play的区别）

Ss:乐器前加the,球类前不加the。

活动意图：为了便于学生掌握 play在球类和乐器前的用法，从学生在前几册学习的球类运动词组入手，采用归类法，引导学生发现规律：乐器前面一定加the,球类前不需要加the。

4.Learn the text.

*Act it out.

活动意图：让学生跟读课文，正确的语音输入可以矫正学生的发音，锻炼学生的认读和听说能力。通过组内活动，课文表演，既达到了强化巩固的作用，又避免了反复读的枯燥与单调。

Step 4.任务完成

Play a game.

Love music,love your life!（爱音乐，爱生活）

活动意图：做一个记忆游戏，课件出示动物们演奏的图片，让学生描述，然后覆盖图片，让学生自由猜测动物们用了什么乐器。每一个学生都能积极参与，训练了学生综合语言运用能力。

Step 5.Summary

1.小结本课所学乐器，运用过去时的特殊疑问句及其答语进行表达。

2.祝贺获胜的学生们。

Step 6.Homework

1.Read and recite the text.

2.Enjoy a CD or a concert with your parents.

3.Sing a song.

活动意图：整堂课的总体评价让学生学习兴趣倍增，激发了他们的课堂表现欲望，增强了学习的主观能动性。作业的布置帮助学生巩固语言知识，与家人一起参加一场音乐会或者欣赏一张CD，引导学生走近高雅音乐，培养他们欣赏美的音乐能力。

最后学习一句英语谚语“Love music,love your life!”，扩展学生的知识面。
