厕所是人们每日离不开的地方。英语有各种各样表示“厕所”的对应词，包括toilet, lavatory, bathroom, washroom,washing room, restroom 等。“厕所革命”，英语译为toilet revolution。例如：

1. 中国已在全国范围内的旅游景区发动一场厕所革命，使厕所设施更加整洁、更加规范。China has launched a toilet revolution at tourist sites across the country to make the toilet facilities cleaner and more regulated.

2. 厕所革命是旨在改善中国旅游景点厕所的外观与设施的全国性行动。The toilet revolution is a national campaign to improve both the appearance and facilities in washrooms at tourist attractions in China.

3. 中国计划5年内在旅游景区和旅游线路修建、扩建和改建10 万座厕所。China plans to build, expand and renovate 100,000 toilets in scenic areas and along tourist routes within five years.
