A man attempting to steal DVDs from a Texas Walmart was brought to justice by a police officer dressed as Batman.

Fort Worth Police officer Damon Cole shared photos as he arrested the suspect2 while dressed in full Batman garb during a childrens safety fair near the store.

“I was at Walmart as Batman for kids day. This male attempted to steal 4 DVDs，” Cole wrote. “I stopped him as Batman. He asked me for a selfie3 as Batman.”

The total cost of the DVDs was less than $100 so the man was just given a citation4， but he did receive an extra bit of ridicule5 from Cole for attempting to steal The Lego Batman Movie.

“You cant steal my movie. Come on，” Cole said.

Cole dresses up as several different super heroes including Superman and The Hulk for childrens events.

“I dress up as many different super heroes and I travel the country in my off time seeing children with cancer and other illnesses，” he said. “I do that to give them inspiration6 and hope to keep fighting.”
