雄安新区如今已过满月，千年大计蓝图渐清晰。2017年4月1日，新华通讯社受权发布：中共中央、国务院决定设立河北雄安新区（the Xiongan New Area） 这是党中央深入推进京津冀协同发展（joint development）、有序疏解北京非首都功能（orderly relief the non- capital function of Beijing； gut the city of all functions unrelated to its status as the national capital）、谋求区域发展的新路子， 打造经济社会发展新的增长极（pole of growth） 的重大决策部署（a significant strategic decision），是千年大计（a project of vital and lasting importance）。这一消息迅速成为海内外关注的焦点（focus of attention）。

被称为“ 标杆之城”（the city ofbenchmarking） 的雄安新区将以高标准从高起点起步， 立足当前， 着眼长远（stand from the present but take a longtermperspective）， 成为改革开放的高地， 创新驱动（driven through innovation） 将是雄安新区的发展基点。

雄安新区已经迎来满月（completion of its first month of life）。河北省在一个月内举行了多次省级会议，讨论雄安新区的建设；至少已有9个国家部委发声支持（vocally express ones support） 雄安新区建设，包括诸多国内科研单位、央企总部、产业巨头（industrial baron） 等；在地方层面，先后已有8省市政府以及企业表态支持雄安新区建设，纷纷主动对接（butt joint with） 雄安新区建设，按下了推进新一轮改革发展的启动键，推开了一扇崭新的转型发展之门。▲
