And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to1)steerher by,
And the wheel’s2)kickand the wind’s song and the white3)sail’sshaking,
And a grey mist on the sea’s face and a grey dawn breaking.
I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the4)flung5)sprayand the blown6)spume, and the sea-gulls crying.
I must go down to the seas again to the7)vagrant8)gypsylife,
To the gull’s way and the whale’s way where the wind’s like a9)whettedknife;
And all I ask is a merry10)yarnfrom a laughing fellow-11)rover,
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long12)trick’sover.
我要的只是一艘高高的航船、一颗星星为我导航;
我要的只是天天疾风劲吹,吹得白云飞翻;
像海鸥长空翱翔,像巨鲸遨游大洋,任风儿像新磨刀枪;
