何谓真正的成功？

On the journey of life,some people are always pursuing wealth and fame and considering them as a kind of motivation for his achievement.But from my point of view,the real success doesn’t lie in how much money you’ve earned,or which social class you are at,but personal satisfaction and happiness which belong to you.

在人生的旅途中，有一些人总是在追名逐利，并把这看作是促使他们获取成就的动机。但在我看来，真正的成功，并不取决于你的收入多少，或者你所处的社会阶层，而是来自于真正属于你自己的快乐和满足。

Galileo Galilei,an Italian scientist,is one of the persons that I admire.He is recognized as one of the greatest people in the world.It was his interests on science that motivated him to go further.During his life,he made some great inventions and set up many new theories and laws on physics andastronomy1,which benefited mankind a great deal.But we all know that his whole life wasmiserable2.Many people were against his theories and laws,because he overthrew some of the former wrong views,which were believed by Italy for a long time.

伽利略，是我崇敬的一位意大利科学家，同时也是世界上最伟大的科学家之一。正是他对于科学的兴趣才促使他在这一方面深有造诣。在他的一生中，他有许多伟大的发明，并且提出了许多新的让人类受益的物理和天文方面的理论与定律。但是，众所周知，伽利略的一生并不顺利。他推翻了一些长期被意大利人们相信的谬论，这让许多人和他对立。

Galileo led a poor life,but what makes me admire him is that he never gave up!Not only did he know that his study would help the people and the world go further,but also he felt happy andfulfilled3on his research.So he stuck to his opinions and made a great contribution to the world.Not was his success gained by money or fame,but by the real happiness and satisfaction from his researches.And he would never regret.As for him,wealth and fame are just something unimportant,while what matters is truth and facts!

但是让我钦佩的是，尽管贫穷，伽利略却从来没有放弃过。他不仅仅清楚的知道他的新理论会有利于人类和这个世界的发展，而且他也沉浸在自己的研究中，充实并快乐着。于是，他坚持自己的研究，最终为世界作出了巨大的贡献。他的成功，并不是来自于财富和名誉，而是来自于做研究时的真正的快乐和充实。他决不会后悔，对于他来说，财富和名誉并不是重要的，真正重要的，却是真理和事实！

As for us students,if we feel fulfilled and delighted about what we’re doing now,never will we regret.For instance,sometimes we can get good grades,which is a kind of reward for our efforts.It is much more sig nificant than any material rewards and it will also motivate and encourage us to keep going.

对于我们学生来说，如果我们对于我们现在所做的事情感到快乐和充实，我们将永远不会后悔。比如，有时我们或许会取得好成绩，这或许是对于我们付出的一种“奖赏”。这份成绩本身比任何物质上的奖励更加重要，同时也会激励鼓舞我们走得更远。

What’s more,material can’t last for long and it is onlysuperficial4.It will not bring us the real happiness.Instead,sometimes if we lose self control,wealth and fame might become sometemptations5leading us to a wrong way.So we are likely to become tired and lonely spiritually.While the real happiness and satisfaction is somethinginvisible6which comes from the bottom of our hearts.

进一步来说，物质只是表象，是不可能持久的。它不可能给我们带来真正的快乐。反而，如果我们有时失去了自制力，财富和名誉会成为将我们引入歧途的诱惑，让我们很可能变得空虚、疲倦。然而真正的快乐和满足却是无形的，它们来自我们的内心深处。

As an old saying goes,“The wealth of mind is the true wealth”.As far as I am concerned,the real success is something that can not be measured by wealth and fame,and it comes from fulfillment of our hard work.

正如一句老话说的，“心灵的财富才是真正的财富”。在我看来，真正的成功是不能用财富和名誉来衡量的，它来自于我们勤奋努力后的充实感。
