摘要：在我国服装的发展历史中，刺绣一直占有非常重要的地位。随着人们对传统文化认识的增强以及刺绣工艺的相应发展，现代服装中刺绣的运用手法得到了越来越多的关注。文章对刺绣的发展和特征进行了阐述，最后结合现代工艺的发展探讨现代服装的刺绣手法。

The Techniques of Using Embroidery in Modern Garment Design

Abstract： Embroidery has been playing important role in the history of Chinese costumes. Embroidery was widely used on ancient Chinese costumes. However， with historical changes and the development of the times， embroidery is less used in modern garment. Now with peoples sense of traditional culture being enhanced and the development of embroidery technology， the techniques of using embroidery in modern garment has aroused more and more attention. The paper first introduces the development and characteristics of embroidery and then discusses the techniques of using embroidery in modern garment based on introducing the development modern embroidery technology.

刺绣起源于春秋战国时期，在历史发展的过程中，各个朝代的兴衰使刺绣工艺有了明显的变化，在相应的历史时期，刺绣往往存在鲜明的特点。在设计过程中，刺绣工艺可以进一步加工相应的服装面料，从而使服装色彩和图案获得相应的统一，并使精神审美以及物质生活需求达到一致。从工艺起源开始，刺绣与服装之间就有着非常密切的关系，服装之中的某些工艺能够得到较为长远的发展。在我国各个历史时期当中，利用刺绣工艺进一步表现服装的民族文化以及社会风情。然而到了现代社会，传统的手工技艺在工业化发展的过程中并没有较大的进步。基于这种情况，在弘扬传统文化的过程中，应当依照中国的实际情况进行相应的发展，并进行民族化的文化建设，刺绣工艺的发展势在必行。

1 刺绣在现代服装设计中的特征

1.1 装饰目的

中国传统服装中的刺绣艺术往往是利用较为丰富的形象表达穿着者的内心情感，所有的图案都有相应吉祥的意思，比如牡丹花表现的是花开富贵，而蝶恋花或者凤穿牡丹则表现的是情景交融，表现年轻女子向往美好的爱情或者愉悦的生活。……
