【摘要】项目教学法即教师根据教学需要把教学内容分成项目来完成，开展以课内为基础，课外为依托，语言技能实训为拓展，以语言应用技能培养为主线的综合英语实践教学模式，能更好地实现培养应用型高职人才的目的，使高职学生真正做到学以致用，达到毕业就能上岗的目标。笔者在文中首先阐述了《高职英语》教学的现状，然后介绍项目教学的含义、具体实施步骤、考核评价及深远意义。

【Abstract】Project-teaching method means the teacher divides the teaching content into several projects according to the teaching needs. It bases on the classroom， extracurricular and language skills training for development. The purpose is to train comprehensive language application ability， to train the applied talents. When the higher vocational students really put this knowledge into use， then they can mount guard after graduation. The author， first of all， expounds the present situation of the higher vocational English teaching， and then introduces the meaning of project teaching， and specific implementation steps， the methods of assessment and great significance.

一、高职专业英语现状

近年来高职英语的现状不容乐观，就鄂州职业大学外语系情况来看，外语系成立于1998年，到2015年暂停招生历时17个春秋，其间2005年招收专业学生达到高峰期，英语教育专业共7个班300多人，随后人数逐年减少。与此同时，全国各大高职院校英语专业招生人数也逐年减少，毕业生也不能跟上中小学校英语教学的要求，就业情况令人堪忧。根据《高等职业教育英语课程教学要求（试行）》要求，我校从2014年开始请戴士宏教授指导全校进行教学改革。切实贯彻高职英语课程以职场交际为目标的精神，以应用为目的，培养学生实际应用英语的能力，特别是听说能力，使他们能在日常活动和与未来职业相关的业务活动中进行一般的口头和书面交流，同时掌握有效的学习方法，增强自主学习能力，提高综合文化素养，为他们提升就业竞争力及今后的可持续发展打下良好的基础。
