A Discussion About Pop Music

The students in our class had a discussion about pop music in the class meeting last Friday.

Like other types of music， pop music has its own special culture. Most of my classmates love pop music. They think it makes their lives more colourful. And it is easy to learn to sing a pop song. Some students even say they cannot imagine what life will be like without pop music.

However， a few classmates do not agree. They think pop music doesnt have a lasting value. Moreover， spending lots of time on it will affect our lives and schoolwork.

In my opinion， listening to pop music can help us relax， but we should also learn to achieve a balance between our hobbies and schoolwork.
