My Favourite Star

Liu Qian is a young magician from Taiwan. He did a magic trick in CCTVs Spring Festival Gala in 2011， using Dong Qings ring， and this program made him become one of the hottest magicians in China.

Liu Qian was born in 1976 in Taiwan. He became interested in magic when he was 7 years old. At the age of 12， he took part in Taiwans Youth Magic Contest. At first， he didnt plan to be a professional magician. He chose to study Japanese in Soochow University. But when he graduated， he worked as a magician. Later， he began hosting a TV program and performing his magic. It quickly became the most popular program on TV. Now lots of people like him and his magic.
