编者按：针织工艺技术灵活、结构多样、原料普适、装备高效的显著特性，为各种产业用纺织品材料提供了优势条件，使得针织产品在产业用纺织品领域的比重日渐提升。随着原料和装备的不断研发和创新，给针织技术在产业用领域的应用进一步提供了发展的机遇。

近年来，我国在产业用针织物产品的应用及开发、相应生产设备的研制与生产方面的技术水平有了长足进步，某些领域已经达到或接近国际先进水平，但整体技术水平与发达国家仍有较大差距。“十二五”末，我国产业用纺织品在纺织行业中所占的比重将达到25%，但与发达国家30%左右的比例相比，中国产业用纺织品仍然具有较大的发展空间。

Recently， China has made great progress in the application and development of knitted products and corresponding equipment and caught up the international advanced level in certain fields， but the overall technological level still lags behind that in developed countries. By the end of 2015， the proportion of technical textiles in textile industry is expected to reach 25%， but to catch up the 30-percent level in developed countries， China still has great potential for developing technical textiles.
