摘要：学术论文摘要是一种特定的交际事件，具有特定的交际目的和交际对象，因而在语篇结构上不只是提供相关研究信息和对客观事实的陈述，还具有特定的评价和人际等社会功能。对6种不同学科240篇英语论文摘要中具有评价意义的-that从句的研究表明，学术论文作者在摘要中以不同的评价对象、评价源、评价立场和评价方式，借助-that 从句明示研究内容和研究发现，或显性评价自己和他人研究结果，表达自己的立场，从而实现其人际交际目的。

Interpersonal functions of evaluative –THAT clause

in the abstracts of English academic papers

Abstract：The abstract of an English academic paper is a particular communicative event， which has particular communicative purposes and objects. Therefore， it not only provides relevant research information and presents objective facts， but also has particular evaluative and interpersonal functions. Based on the investigation of 240 abstracts of English academic papers chosen from key journals of 6 different disciplines， the paper finds that through various evaluated entities， sources of evaluation， evaluative stance and evaluative expressions， these abstracts widely employ the evaluative–that clause， which helps writers to manage their discourses in various ways and to signal a clear stance towards the information they present.

近年来，学术语篇的体裁分析成为语言学研究的焦点之一，学者们对各种学术语类的宏观结构和微观语用做了卓有成效的研究。作为学术语篇的一种语类，学术论文摘要也成为学者们关注的课题。学术论文摘要是一种特定的交际事件，具有特定的交际目的和交际对象[1]，因而在语篇结构上不只是提供相关研究信息和对客观事实的陈述，还具有特定的评价和人际等社会功能。Hunston & Thompson[2]、Martin[3]、Crismore[4]等分别从评价（evaluation/appraisal）、立场（stance）和元语篇（metadiscourse）角度对论文作者是如何在摘要部分“推销”自己的研究成果、“说服”语篇社团其他成员接受自己的观点与目的进行了研究。鞠玉梅考察了学术论文摘要的宏观结构[1]；……
