摘要：随着经济建设的不断深入，一方面城市功能和城市规模不断扩大的同时，人们也越来越重视城市建设的发展质量，生态环境的优劣。新时代的背景下关于生态城市的建设俨然成为了最热点的话题，本文结合个人在实际工作过程当中的经验总结，就我国生态城市规划与建设展开讨论，希望能够起到抛砖引玉的作用。

一 生态城市的概念

近几年来关于生态城市的规划与建设俨然成为了最热门的话题。然而究竟什么才是生态城市却说法不一。结合个人在实际工作过程当中的经验总结，本人认为生态城市实际上是一个自然环境和人文价值高度融合的综合性概念，换言之就是在城市规划的过程当中巧妙的运用生态环境建设的科学理念，并将其作为城市建设和规划的指导工作，是将可持续发展观的战略理念落实到城市建设与规划过程当中的重要举措。

二 生态城市建设与规划需要遵循的原则

（一）人与自然协调发展原则

在生态城市的规划与建设过程当中应该要结合城市的具体情况，所处的区域特征，运用宏观系统性的观点进行科学的部署和规划，最终后果让城市人口规模与城市的用地面积相适应发展，与此同时在生态学原理的指导和帮助下最大限度的改善人们的居住环境。不能片面的为了追求经济效益而以牺牲生态环境为代价。……
