编者按：本刊在上一期（第86期）就雕塑与空间形态的问题进行了笔谈。对于雕塑艺术的本体语言方面进行了深入的探讨。雕塑的空间形态及其形成的空间语义及语境，会使我们从不同维度去审视和体味，本期继续就“雕塑与空间”之形态问题进行探讨，以进一步深化对此问题的学术认识。

This issue’s theme:Sculpture and the Dimensions of Space and Evolvement

Editor’s notes:This magazine made a discussion about the space form of the sculpture in the last issue (86).In terms of the noumenal language of sculpture,we made a deeply discussion . The space form of the sculpture and its spatial semantics context, let us to examine and to explore it from different dimensions,this issue will make the discussion about the topic of “sculpture and space” in order to deepen the understanding of this academic issue.

The article analyzes the transformation of physical space of sculpture from the perspective of art history and points out how it displays itself from inside out, starting from closed and cohesive space, then to open, structural and penetrative space and fi nally to mobile and divergent space. And from the aspects such as the relationship between derivative and imaginative (or receptive) space, invitational and participatory qualities of space, etc., the article discusses the importance and signif i cance that public art including sculpture brings about in the process of constructing spiritual and experimental space.

一如我们所认识的那样，雕塑艺术可谓空间的艺术。然而，雕塑的空间形态及其形成的空间语义及语境，又会使我们从不同的维度去审视和体味。概要地说，雕塑的空间形态及其意味大致可分为两个基本的维度：即雕塑自身呈现的物理性的空间形态及意味（及其可视的结构关系）；另则是它所显现的（或隐喻的）心理性与体验性的空间形态及意味。它们共同构成了雕塑的空间存在——而这种存在是在雕塑自身发展的历史及社会文化的演变中产生和变化的；并且是在不同文化背景下由不同人群的文化经验中形成的。也就是说，我们对于雕塑空间形态的感知与认识，并非由纯粹的物质性或科学性的考量方式所形成和呈现的。

作为雕塑的物理性空间形态的演化，基本上经过了若干类型与阶段（但这些阶段并非单纯的线性发展关系，而有时是交差、平行或跳跃式的）：
