kind of 在英语中变幻莫测，不信，请看下面三个句子，你能分清kind of 的不同含义吗？

①Because they are kind of interesting.

②What kind of movies do you like?

③Its very kind of you to help me.

【要点提示】

1. kind of常常可以用作副词，意思是“有点儿，稍微，几乎”，常用来修饰形容词或动词，而且此处的kind没有数的变化。例如：

He is kind of lazy. 他有点懒。

I kind of like this book.

我有点喜欢这本书。

Where is my coat? I feel kind of cold.

我的大衣呢？我觉得有点冷。

We kind of hope she can come tomorrow.

我们多少有点希望她明天能来。

故第①句中kind of 意为“有点儿；稍微”。

2. kind用作名词时意为“种类”，常和介词of连用，后接用来限定种类的名词，此处的kind有数的变化。例如：

That is a kind of flower. 那是一种花。

There are many kinds of animals in the zoo. 动物园里有许多动物。

3. kind用作形容词时意为“和蔼的，善良的”。例如：
