特殊疑问词总爱问“什么”、“谁”、“在哪儿”、“怎么样”等，正因为如此，我们感觉它们很神秘，不易理解。为此，我们“语法天地”演播室特地邀请了what，who，whose，where，why，how等嘉宾为大家分忧解难。下面就让我们听听它们的自述吧！

嘉宾what：我是“什么”，用法非常广泛，大家可一定要记住我啊！我不但可以对人的姓名、班级、电话号码等进行提问，而且还可以对活动或事物进行提问。例如：

Whats her name? 她叫什么名字？

What do you think of this dress? 你觉得这条连衣裙怎么样？

What do you usually do after school? 你放学后通常干什么？

Whats wrong with your computer? 你的电脑怎么了？

▲还可用“what+名词”来提问，如what color， what class， what time等。例如：

What color are those clothes? 那些衣服是什么颜色的？

▲“What/How about…?”表示“……怎么样?”，用来询问或提出建议，后面接代词、名词或v-ing形式。例如：

What about you? 你呢？

What about that T-shirt? 那件T恤怎么样？

How about having a drink outside? 出去喝一杯怎么样？

嘉宾who：我是“谁”，用于询问人物。例如：

Who is the man over there? 那边那个男人是谁？

▲who用在不清楚主语是单数还是复数的句子中，一般按第三人称单数对待。例如：

——Who is knocking at the door? 谁在敲门？

——Its me. 是我。

▲询问对方是“谁”时的具体情形不同，说法也不一样。例如：

Who are you? 你是谁？【主要用来询问不认识的人】

Who is it? 哪位？【一般用来询问敲门的人，回答通常是“Its me.”】

Who is this, please? 请问是哪位？【是电话用语，回答通常是“This is…(speaking).”】

嘉宾whose：我是“谁的”，主要用于询问物主。由我构成的主要句型有：“Whose+名词+be+主语?”，其中，whose作定语，后面可跟单数名词，也可跟复数名词；“Whose+be+主语?”，其中，whose作表语，be的形式也取决于其后的主语。例如：

——Whose book is this? 这是谁的书？

——Its Millies. 是米莉的。

——Whose is the red car? 这辆红色小轿车是谁的？

——Its my uncles. 是我叔叔的。

▲whose与whos读音相同，但二者的含义及用法不同：whose意为“谁的”，作疑问代词，引导特殊疑问句；whos是who is的缩写形式，意为“谁是……”或“……是谁”。

嘉宾where：如果你想对地点或位置进行提问，那就要用我“在哪里；到哪儿”了。例如：

Where are you from? 你来自哪里？

Where is my pen? 我的钢笔在哪儿？

▲回答时，为了简洁、明快，可以直接说出地点。如上面两句的答语分别可以说成“Beijing.”和“On the desk.”。

嘉宾why：我喜欢究根问底，所以大家都称我“为什么”，我的答语常常以because开头。例如：

——Why do you like English? 你为什么喜欢英语？

——Because its interesting. 因为它很有趣。

▲“Why not…?”相当于“Why dont you…?”，是表示提供建议的一种说法，意为“为什么不……？”，后接动词原形。例如：

Why not go to the zoo?=Why dont you go to the zoo? 为什么不去动物园呢？

嘉宾how：我的主要意思是“怎样”，可以询问人的身体状况，也可以对程度、方式等进行提问。例如：

How do you do!你好！

How do you spell the word? 你是怎样拼写那个单词的？

▲“How old…?”意为“……多大了？”，常用于询问年龄。例如：

How old are you? 你多大了？

▲“How many+可数名词复数+…?”和“How much+不可数名词+…?”常用于询问名词的数量。此外，“How much is/are…?”常用于询问商品的价格。例如：

How many students are there in your class? 你们班有多少学生？

How much salt do they need? 他们需要多少盐？

How much is the meat? 这块肉多少钱？

拓展：个别特殊疑问句的回答

1. 以What开头的疑问句，否定回答通常用Nothing。例如：

——What did he say at the meeting? 他在会上讲了些什么?

——Nothing. 什么也没有讲。

——Whats in the box? 这盒子里有什么?

——Nothing. 什么也没有。

2. 以Who开头的疑问句，否定回答通常用Nobody/No one。例如：

——Who was late today? 今天谁迟到了?

——No one. 没有人迟到。

——Who has read the book? 谁读过这本书?

——Nobody. 没有人。

3. 以 How many， How much 开头的疑问句，否定回答通常用 None。例如：

——How many dictionaries did you buy yesterday? 昨天你买了几本字典?

——None. 一本也没买。

——How much money did he lend you? 他借给你多少钱?

——None. 一分也没有。

▲一般来说，some 用于肯定句中，any 用于否定句和疑问句中。但这只是通常的情况，以下特殊情况须注意。

1. 希望得到肯定回答的疑问句通常用some。例如：

May I have some paper? 我可以拿些纸吗?

Arent there some stamps in that drawer? 那抽屉里不是有几张邮票吗?

Didnt he give you some money? 他不是给了你一些钱吗?

2. 表示请求或建议的疑问句通常用some。例如：

Why not give her some flowers? 为什么不送她些花呢?

Would you like some bananas? 吃点香蕉吗?

Wont you have some more? 你不再要一点吗?

Shall I get some chalk for you? 要我给你拿些粉笔来吗?

3. some 有时用于下面这样的否定句。例如：

I dont like some of the films. 这些电影中有几部我不喜欢。

比较：I do not like any of the films. 这些电影中我一部也不喜欢。
