冬奥带动冰雪经济,服装行业迎新机

借助北京2022年冬奥会的契机,冰雪运动在我国大江南北、长城内外呈现出前所未有的发展活力和潜力,冰雪产业从“冷资源”走向“热经济”,冰雪运动将成为人们新的时尚生活方式之一。

据相关数据统计,2017-2018年中國冰雪旅游、运动收入约合3300亿元,预计2021-2022年冰雪季,中国冰雪旅游、运动人数将达3.4亿人次、收入有望达到6800亿元。2022北京冬奥会将带动中国冰雪产业进入“井喷”式发展阶段,未来几年将是冰雪相关产业发展的“黄金时期”,无论是市场规模的扩大,还是消费热情的高涨,都将为冰雪运动服装行业开发新品提供强有力的支撑。在此背景下,如何通过产品升级和技术创新,成功抢占市场先机,则成为决定企业未来发展的关键。

全球征集保暖材料,本土企业脱颖而出

由于冬奥运动气候条件特殊,制服保暖材料必须同时兼顾抵御严寒、防风保暖和透气、透湿、轻便舒适之间科学平衡,最大程度满足所有场景下的需要。为此,从2020年开始,北京冬奥组委会就开始面向全球征集冬奥制服保暖材料。

经过激烈的竞争,来自江苏康大无纺有限公司研发的多维蓄热保暖絮片,以其创新的多维结构、联手产业链研制的自主蓄发热材料,突破了传统絮片保暖的特征,实现了保暖絮片的升级换代,各项检测指标均名列第一,最终在10余家国内外竞争强手中脱颖而出,成为冬奥制服保暖絮片的唯一供应商。经冬奥组委会有关专家评估,江苏康大研发的多维蓄热保暖絮片,不仅让冬奥制服重量减轻40%,而且保暖性提升30%以上,具有瞬间升温、长效蓄热、亲肤轻柔、吸汗透气的性能。

30年来,江苏康大一直专注于保暖填充材料的生产和保暖絮片的研发。近20年,江苏康大潜心军品被装保暖材料的研制,先后为各军种研制了10多种保暖絮片材料,参与了多项技术标准的制订,用于军服棉衣、棉大衣、睡袋、被子、棉帐篷等不同装备。

目前,江苏康大是解放军被服、公安部公安警服材料供应商库企业,是中国航天、安踏、波司登等品牌企业供应商。其研发的“新型保暖材料及其应用”获2020年军队科学技术二等奖,“多维蓄热保暖材料”被列入2020年国家军民融合发展项目,并荣获2021年江苏省企协科学技术奖。

对于此次能够成为2022北京冬奥保暖材料供应商,江苏康大董事长孙友林先生表示,“创新永无止境。只有专业的企业,专业的人才,做专业的事情,才会在专业的领域取得成绩。”

三大优势助研发,攻坚克难达目标

三十年的专注与经验累积,带来了“三大优势”,为江苏康大的研发插上了翅膀。拥有完整的产业链,其中不乏科技型、研发型产业链协作企业和战略合作企业的佼佼者;实现强强联合的产学研合作,利用北京服装学院、上海东华大学、上海长三角非织造材料工业协会等对口高校及行业协会的技术、人才、信息优势,建立协作关系,为企业的创新提供了智力支持;建立自主产品研发中心,打造了一支高素质的研发队伍。

江苏康大本次入选的多维蓄热保暖絮片,主要应用于北京2022年冬奥会和冬残奥会赛时工作人员、技术官员、志愿者的制服,冬奥公安警服防寒服中,以及用于冬奥火炬手棉服、志愿者滑雪服、车撬棉裤、颁奖礼仪服、帽子、户外多功能运动外套、功能运动裤、保安外套等各类制服中。

尽管拥有30年丰富的保暖絮片生产研发经验,但当江苏康大团队开始着手冬奥保暖材料的项目研发时,却遇到了两大难题:冬奥制服究竟是什么样子?如何穿着测试?“当时大家的心里确实没底。轻薄、保暖既是对于产品开发的要求,也是天然的矛盾。通常想要追求轻薄,就得牺牲保暖性能,如何寻找一个科学合理的平衡点成为团队思虑的重点?”公司董事长孙友林介绍说:“当时已是夏季,虽然可在实验室条件下采用模拟假人的方法进行低温测试,但没有经过实际环境下的人体测试、仅凭实验室检测数据是有风险的,也是不准确的。”

为搞清冬奥制服需要具备哪些性能,江苏康大研发团队收集了大量国外冬奥制服的相关材料,派专人到张家口、延庆等赛区了解赛时气候特征,广泛搜集信息,综合考虑多方面因素,研制满足冬奥制服特殊需求的保暖絮片。为了让数据更准确,研发人员先后前往四川稻城、亚丁进行测试,尽管8月的气温依旧炎热,但4300米的海拔、伴随着大风的折多山气温已低至零下5°以下。尽管与冬奥会的实际场景仍有差距,但是经过反复测试,江苏康大的研发团队终于得到了理想的参考数据。

让世界听到来自中国制造的声音

对于民众而言,大家的认知普遍仅停留在防寒服装层面,但对于防寒服的核心之一——保暖絮片的了解却知之甚少。作为保暖絮片的基础性材料——合成纤维,在我国起步于上世纪五、六十年代。虽起步较晚,但发展迅速,上世纪末已超越美国,现如今稳居世界第一,占全球化纤总量的70%,形成了较为完善的合成纤维工业体系,许多技术均处于世界领先水平。

从跟跑到并跑,最终成为领跑,其背后是几代纺织人的不懈追求与努力。“作为一家中国纺织企业、一个中国人,看到中国运动员穿着国外品牌保暖材料制成的运动服站在领奖台上,心里很不是滋味。”采访中,江苏康大无纺有限公司董事长孙友林不禁感慨道。

本次北京冬奥保暖絮片采用的是国内企业生产的各种纤维材料,采用的是自主研发的技术和品牌,可以说是真正的“中国造”。除此之外,北京冬奥会制服装备中还应用了防水透湿科技、银离子抗菌技术等“中国造”黑科技,并在设计志愿者服装在设计上彰显了中国文化元素,展现了中国文化的博大精深,更是彰显了中国文化的自信。

谈及未来,公司董事长孙友林表示:“研制、生产具有中国品牌、中国技术的保暖絮片材料,是中国纺织企业、中国纺织人义不容辞的责任与担当!我们将以2022北京冬奥会为契机,进一步加大科研投入,研制开发更多的用于各类品牌服饰、行业制服、户外运动、婴幼儿童装、健康养老等需求的保暖絮片,满足人们对美好衣着的需要,让康大品牌保暖絮片走出国门,走向世界。”

国货崛起,运动服饰赛道前景广阔

近年来,中国运动服饰市场快速成长,增速遥遥领先。运动服装除专用于体育运动竞赛的服装,还包括从事户外体育活动所穿用的服装,主要包括田径服、球类服、冰上服、登山服、滑雪服、體操服等9类,以及群众性的运动服饰。市场快速扩容下,2016-2020年体育服饰占服装行业整体零售市场规模比重已由8.8%上升至13.3%。2020年底,中国体育服饰行业市场规模更是到达3150亿元。

行业的发展,也带动了产业链上下游企业的转型提升。作为产业链条中的一员,对于如何抓住冬奥带来的商机,公司董事长孙友林也有着自己的理解。在其看来,近年来随着国力强大,人民消费水平的提升以及国家各项利好政策的逐步出台,不同程度地推动了全民健身运动的蓬勃发展。尤其是受新冠疫情影响,全民健康意识持续增强,人们对高质量、更舒适生活方式的追求,必然带动运动服装需求和消费的上升。随着以安踏、李宁、特步等为代表的本土运动服饰品牌在产品研发层面的迅速提升,年轻一代消费者对于国货品牌的认知以及购买意愿也在逐年增长。这些利好都将为中国运动服装产业提供较大的发展潜能,但对标国际领军品牌,当前中国运动服饰品牌仍有提升空间。

Ice and snow sports have shown unprecedented development vitality and potential across China with the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. The ice and snow industry has changed from a cold resource to a hot economy, and ice and snow sports will become one of people’s new fashion lifestyles.

The income of ice and snow tourism and sports in China in 2017-2018 is about 330 billion yuan. It is estimated that in 2021-2022, the number of ice and snow traveling and sports in China will reach 340 million, and the income is expected to reach 680 billion yuan, according to statistics. The Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games will drive China’s ice and snow industry into a growth spurt stage. The next few years will be a golden period for the development of ice and snow related industries. Both the expansion of market and the upsurge of consumer’s enthusiasm will provide strong support for the development of new products in ice and snow sports apparel industry. Local companies stand out in the global competition for uniform’s warmth retention materials

Due to the special climate conditions of the Olympic Winter Games, warmth retention meterials for uniform must simultaneously take into account cold resistance, wind resistance and warmth, and air permeability, moisture permeability, lightweight and comfortable, to meet the needs of all scenes to the greatest extent. To this end, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games has started soliciting warmth retention materials for uniforms from around the world since 2020.

The multi-dimensional heat storage and interlining for warming batts developed by Jiangsu Kangda Nonwoven Co., Ltd., with its innovative multi-dimensional structure and independent heat storage materials, realize the upgrade of interlining for warming batts. Three advantages to support research and development, overcome difficulties to achieve the goal

Thirty years of concentration and accumulation of experience have brought three advantages, which support research and development of Jiangsu Kangda. It has a complete industrial chain, among which there are many outstanding scientific and technological, R&D industrial chain cooperative enterprises and strategic cooperative enterprises; to realize the industry-university-research cooperation, and make use of the technology, talent and information advantages of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Shanghai Donghua University, Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Nonwovens Industry Association and other corresponding universities and industry associations to establish cooperative relations, providing intellectual support for enterprise innovation; to establish independent product research and development center, to create a high-quality research and development team.

The multi-dimensional interlining for warming batts selected by Jiangsu Kangda this time is mainly used in the uniforms of staff, technical officials and volunteers of the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and the police uniforms, as well as for the torchbearers’ padded jacket, volunteer’s ski wear, clothes for award ceremony, outdoor multi-functional sports coat, functional sports pants and other uniforms.

Despite 30 years of experience in the production and development of interlining for warming batts, when the Jiangsu Kangda team started the research and development of interlining for warming batts for the Olympic Winter Games, they encountered two major problems: “What does the uniform for Olympic Winter Games look like? How to test? There was no certainty at that time. Thinness and warmth are requirements for product development. If the uniform is thinness, it may lose its warmth performance. How to find a scientific and reasonable balance has become the focus of the team’s thinking.” Sun Youlin, chairman of the company, said:“It was summer at that time and it was possible to use dummy methods to conduct low-temperature tests in laboratory conditions, but relying on laboratory data without human testing in real environments is risky and inaccurate.”

In order to find out what performance the uniforms need to have, Jiangsu Kangda R&D team collected a large number of materials related to foreign Olympic Winter Games uniforms. They went to Zhangjiakou, Yanqing and other competition areas to understand the climate characteristics during the competition, extensively collected information, and comprehensively considered various factors to develop interlining for warming batts to meet the special needs of Olympic Winter Games uniforms. In order to make the data more accurate, the researchers have been to Daocheng and Yading in Sichuan Province for testing. Although it was still hot in August, the temperature at an altitude of 4,300 meters and the Zheduo Mountain accompanied by strong winds had dropped to below minus 5°C. Although there is still a gap with the actual scene of the Olympic Winter Games, but after repeated testing, Jiangsu Kangda R&D team finally got the ideal reference data.

Let the world hear the voice of China

For the public, people’s cognition generally only stays at the level of cold protective clothing, but for one of the core of cold protective clothing, the understanding of interlining for warming batts is very little. As the basic material of interlining for warming batts—synthetic fiber, started in China in the 1950s and 1960s. Although it started late, it has developed rapidly. At the end of the last century, it has surpassed the United States and now ranks No.1 in the world, accounting for 70 percent of the total amount of global chemical fiber. It has formed a relatively complete synthetic fiber industrial system and many technologies are at the world’s leading level.

From following to leading, it is the unremitting pursuit and efforts of several generations of textile people. “As a Chinese textile company and a Chinese,it is not a good feeling to see Chinese athletes standing on the podium wearing sportswear made of foreign brands’ warmth retention materials.” Chairman Sun Youlin can not help feeling way.

The interlining for warming batts for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games is made of various fiber materials produced by domestic enterprises, independently developed technologies and brands, which can be said to be truly “Made in China”. In addition, the uniforms of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games also used waterproof and moisture permeable technology, silver ion antibacterial technology and other black technologies, and the design of volunteer’s uniform highlights Chinese cultural elements, showing the broad and profound Chinese culture, but also highlights the confidence of Chinese culture.

Talking about the future, Sun Youlin, chairman of the company, said: “It is the bounden responsibility of Chinese textile enterprises and Chinese textile people to develop and produce interlining for warming batts with Chinese technology. The rise of domestic products, the sportswear market has a bright future

In recent years, China’s sportswear market has been growing fast. Sports clothing in addition to special sports competition clothing, including track suit, football sweat shirt, ski wear, gym suit and other 9 types of outdoor sports wear, as well as mass sports clothing. With the rapid expansion of the market, the proportion of sportswear in the overall retail market of the apparel industry has increased from 8.8 percent to 13.3 percent from 2016 to 2020. By the end of 2020, the market of China’s sports apparel industry has reached 315 billion yuan.
