在电影《神偷奶爸》中，编剧大开脑洞，让格鲁盗走了月球，可在现实生活中，如果月球真的消失了，会对地球造成什么影响呢？

The moon itself does not shine, and the moonlight we see at night is its reflection(反射) of sunlight. If the moon were gone, the night on the earth would be very dark and we would have to rely on streetlights.

月球本身不发光，我们在夜晚看到的月光是它反射的太阳光。如果月球消失了，地球的夜晚会变得很黑很黑，我们只能依靠路灯了。

Without the moon, the climate of the earth would have a big change. The Antarctic(南极)and the Arctic (北极)would not remain cold all the time, and the tropics(热带地区) would not be hot all year round.

没有了月球，地球的气候将会发生重大变化。南北极不再常年寒冷，热带地区也不会常年炎热。

The moon plays an important role in making the tides(潮汐) on the earth. If the moon were gone,the tides would be much smaller, and surfing would not be as exciting as before. Meanwhile, some marine(海洋的) animals such as crabs and starfish would face survival(生存) challenges（挑战）.

月球对地球潮汐现象的产生起了很大的作用。如果月球消失了，潮汐规模会大大降低，冲浪就不会像以前那么刺激了。与此同时，螃蟹、海星等海洋动物也会面临生存挑战。

Without the moon, the unstable climate would bring a devastating（毁灭性的） disaster to crops and we would have a big trouble in terms of food.

没有月亮，不稳定的气候会给农作物带来毁灭性的灾难，到时候我们就要担心吃饭的问题了。
