During that time， Hubei Tianmen Textile Machinery Co.， Ltd. has struggled for 40 years and grown into a national famous textile enterprise with advanced technology. The core value of it has been created in the process of innovating. It has witnessed the change of Chinas reforming and opening-up and it become the representative of thousands of textile enterprises in China. On a day of blooming spring， Journalist visited Shen Fangyong in his wide and clean office. Shen is the chairman of the company. His office is as same as the other offices， expect for a calligraphic work on the wall， which is written with characters which means ideas are born from diligence and nothing is impossible. At the beginning of the interview， we talked about the calligraphic.

Keep concentrating on textile machine

Hubei Tianmen Textile Machinery Co.， Ltd. has a spirit of unity of knowing and doing. There were many business opportunities for the company in reform and opening-up， and there were also many temptations and changes. Chinas rapid development in recent decades has brought businessman many business opportunities. As a former government officer， Shen Fangyong is well-known locally. It was easy for him to obtain much fortune， but he just focused on the innovation of textile machine. He concentrated on R&D;， production， sales and management. Whether when the Real-estate industry was hot or when the cotton and baler speculation was popular， or when he had chance to enter the capital market of the small and medium-sized board， GEM， the new third board， he didnt change his mind.

In the several decades of the reforming and opening up， Hubei Tianmen Textile Machinery Co.， Ltd. focuses on their business and keeps producing creative thoughts， independently creating and researching new products. They attempt to make products more sophisticated and more professional and try to build famous brand for their products. It is for their diligence that they can keep their original aspiration. Looking back on the past decades with hardship， Shen was very peaceful and pleasant. When reforming and opening-up began in the early 1980s， the former Ministry of Textile Industry named the former Hubei Tianmen First Machinery Manufacturing Plant as the specialized one to produce cotton drawing machine and Tianmen textile machinery was born. So the company was well-known in the textile industry for it and gradually got admiration from other textile enterprises. The first one of Tianmen textile machinery was A272， an equipped cotton drawing machine. Later， they independently researched cotton drawing machine of FA303 which got the Second Prize of Science and Technology of Ministry of Textile Industry. And the technology of group switching gear and the technology of three-up and three-down upper bracket dust-proof dual zone curves pressure bar have got the national patents. During that time， the sales of cotton drawing machine of FA303 were so large that the output couldnt meet the need of market. It was well-known countrywide. After a short time， FA305 and FA315 were born. The complete specification of them could meet different requirements. Till now， the series of cotton drawing machine are still the prominent representative of Tianmen textile machinery.

Hubei Tianmen Textile Machinery Co.， Ltd. has ever gone through many detours. In 1996， Shen Fangyong was appointed as the director and committee secretary of Tianmen Textile Machinery. Before his coming， the company not only produced the main products， but also manufactured many other products， such as car seat belts， biofertilizers and rice and wheat harvesters. As a result， the sales of those products didnt increase， and that of main products decreased. It made company in trouble. Shen immediately changed his mind returned to the textile business and focused on the one business， “We just focused on producing cotton drawing machine， because we have experience of producing that. But it did not mean that we only produce it. We are aimed at producing a complete set of spinning equipment.“Professional People Do Professional Thing”. So we pay much attention to our professional filed. “Concentration is one of our “genes”， whether it is good or bad time， we will plough in our professional field and keep passion on our original aspiration.

Since 2010， the growth rate of textile industry has slowed down， and many enterprises have adopted austerity measures. However， Tianmen Textile Machinery invested largely in fixed property and established R&D; base for textile equipment， and established new textile manufacturing base in Tianmen Economic Development Zone. “Just focus on ploughing during economic downturn.” This is the characteristic of the company. In one year， 400 million was invested and two bases were put into operation， which provided the company sufficient energy to help the market get warm again. The combination of the R&D; base and the powerful factory let the products quickly launching and effectively industrializing. Also， it ensured the quality of textile equipment increase. Now， except for cotton drawing machine， the spinning machine are sold in bulk and spoken highly of users.

Keep innovating， Doing better and better

Product is a critical factor of enterprises development. Tianmen Textile Machinery keeps researching and developing products independently. That is not only improving the quality of the old products， but take a subversive innovation for them. The cotton drawing machine of FA303 is the first one created by ourselves， based on which FA305 and FA315 drawing machine were born successively， and with the patented technology， their high-speed and high-quality ensured. In the 1990s， the company developed FA317， boldly used four pieces of frame， replaced gear drive with toothed belt， used metal rod to clean up the upper roller， further optimized the drawing and transmission mechanism， greatly improved the speed of product， and truly realized “one equipped with two and one replaced two”， that is， a set of drawing machine equipped with two new roving machines and a set of new drawing machine replaced two sets of old-typed machines of FA303. That largely improves the reliability and stability of the products， saves energy and costs very low.

In the new century， the company began to develop a new type of drawing machine with electronic drafting. With several years efforts， TMFD81S drawing machine has been put on the market， which has solved the problems of stepless adjustment draft multiple， the problems of rapid electronic tooth adjustment and electronic broken bar. The multi-barrel binoculars and the balance of air flow in both eyes have been achieved. Subsequently， breakthroughs have also been made in developing the self-leveling machines. TMFD81L drawing machines were listed in large quantities during the “twelfth five-year plan” period and became the main products in the market. At present， another batch of new products will appear at the Shanghai International Textile Machinery Exhibition and then go on the market.

Management is the base of an enterprise. It is a process of technol- ogy and management innovation for Tianmen Textile Machinerys development. When I went into the factory of Tianmen Textile Machinery， I can feel the manager is a diligent man and he has big dreams. When I get to know more about the enterprise， I felt its culture produced by the fine management. Shen said that our culture of management is a practical and sustainable regulation.

System innovation has laid a solid foundation for the company. There are perfect management content， a unique supervision mechanism， and wise management highlights. The company has cooperated with China Mobile that provides location service to fix positions for vehicles and staff taking long-term business trips. To avoid legal disputes， the company will sign contract with China Mobile， information manager and staff who are on business trips. Meanwhile， it made detailed management measures and effectively manage the location platform. The full use of modern information technology largely improved the efficiency and level of management and push the further development of the company.

Keep struggling and save per second

Nowadays， some people thought the textile industry will disappear in the future. For the negative argument， Shen said that the view is not correct， because the cost of transformation of textile industry in Europe， Asia， and Africa is actually increasing. The population is larger and larger， industry keeps developing， market is bigger and bigger， so “textile industry will never disappear. Whenever， China is a big textile production country.” Having this belief， the company keeps attempting and struggling.

It is said that the sales of 2017 was increased by 30% than that of 2016， and the domestic market share achieved a high ranking. The sales of export are large. In 2017， Tianmen Textile Machinery was titled as National High-tech Enterprise， and the brand “Crane” was named after famous trademark in Hubei province. The company has listed on the Hubei First Invisible Champion of Little Tech-Giant， and was licensed as National Contract-abiding and Credit-abiding Enterprises by State Administration of Industry and Commerce.

Shen thought that society is like a big stage extending infinitely to both ends， and everyone should fix a location for himself on the stage， and keep going ahead， so as Tianmen Textile Machinery. “There is still a big gap between the powerful international competitor and us， so we must keep struggling.” Equipment Manufacturing Industry is a base for industrial Economy.
