教學内容和学情分析：

本课话题为语法填空。语法填空是从语法角度对一篇200字左右短文进行适当的分散挖空，考查方式分为有提示词填空和无提示词填空。有提示词一般有7个，常涉及动词，名词，代词，形容词和副词。无提示词一般3个，常考查连词，介词和冠词。其目的是考查学生理解语篇的能力，分析句子结构的能力以及熟练运用语法的能力。

高三下的学生已经具备一定的英语词汇量、语法知识和阅读能力。经过对这一题型反复练习和强化训练后，从他们的解题情况来看，有所提高，但依然存在着一些不足之处，失分点主要是句子结构的分析，特别是谓语动词和非谓语动词的判断和使用。他们平常往往忙于操练缺乏对该题型考点的总结和分析。

Step I Lead-in

Students do the grammatical filling of 2016 national college exam （1） and analyze the testing points in small groups.

Task 1：Identify ： 找出句子中所有动词，并指出哪些动词是谓语动词，哪些是非谓语动词。

谓语动词：① 时态 ② 语态 ③ 主谓一致

非谓语动词：① -ing 表主动 ② -ed 表被动 ③ to do 表目的/将来

Make your home a safer place （2016 省质检）

You probably think that your home is the one place where you are safe. Thats what I thought until last week. Now I knew our flat is full of accidents waiting to happen. Next month well look after my niece and nephew while their parents go away for a short break. We asked them to come and make sure that everything was totally OK. All of us got a few surprises.
