International Pillow Fight Day is held every April around the world—from Amsterdam, Budapest,to New York.It has been celebrated worldwidely since 2008.

国际枕头大战节每年四月份在世界各地举行——从阿姆斯特丹、布达佩斯到纽约。自2008年起，人们就开始在全球范围内庆祝这个节日。

Hundreds of people go out with their pillows hitting each other’s face,back and chest. People dress up as super heroes and animals,laughing and fighting.Pillows are sometimes hidden and at the exact prearranged2time or the sound of a whistle3,the pillow fighters pull out their pillows and start pillow fighting.The pillow fights can last from a few minutes to several hours.There are some rules:Bring your own pillows and don’t hit anyone without a pillow or with a camera.

成百上千的人们走出门用自带的枕头互相击打脸部、背部和胸部。人们盛装打扮成超级英雄和动物，欢笑着，打闹着。有时候枕头被藏起来，等到事先安排好的某个确切时间或者一声哨响，枕头战士们才会拿出枕头来开始枕头大战。枕头大战能持续几分钟到几小时不等。（枕头大战）有几条规则：带自己的枕头，不能攻击没有枕头的人或带着相机、摄影机的人。

The festival used to be a game to release4energy and stress.Nowadays besides bringing fun, International Pillow Fight Day has become a way to quickly collect pillows for the homeless.In 2014,about 2,000 pillows were collected for the poor in Bronx and Brooklyn.

这个节日以前是一个用来释放精力、缓解压力的游戏。如今除了给人们带来乐趣之外，国际枕头大战节已经成了一个为无家可归者迅速筹集枕头的途径。2014年，这个节日为布朗克斯和布鲁克林的穷人筹集到了大约2000个枕头。

According toThe Guinness World Record,the latest record of the largest pillow fight was set on October 27,2013 in Chicago,with 4,500 pillows and 3,813 people.

根据《吉尼斯世界纪录》，世界上最大的枕头大战的最新记录是2013年10月27日在芝加哥举行的这一次，有4500个枕头和3813人参加。

This year,International Pillow Fight Day is held in Washington,DC on April 1st.

今年的国际枕头大战节于4月1日在华盛顿特区举行。
