选取内容:以PEP四年级下册第五单元为蓝本,涉及了小学英语各教材中所含L高频单词,适当补充了L成音节单词。

设计依据及建议:本设计依据短课时、高频率、多接触之英语教学原则而做短课时设计。

教学设计:

短课时教学设计一

1.In thisunit,we will learn how to spell the letter“l”in words.

Such aslikelake...Can you say some words beginning with letter “l”?Ss try to think and speak.

2.T:You can speak so many words beginning with letter“l”.Here are more words,I think you can read it:like,lit,lick,lake,late,lamp,lost,lunch,lick,London,lot,left,lesson,live,love,library.

3.In these words,how do you spell“l”? Yes,l/l/.Now let’s have a contest,and see who can make more meanings with the words.When you read,please pay attention to “l”.For example:London islost.It’s funny.A lot of lamps on the left lake get lost.I like London...You can discuss in groups,then let some group show.

4.T:In this class,we learned some words beginning with “l”.But we have many words ending with “le”.For example:people,apple.Have you found these words?You can look for them in your books.Next class,let’s read them.

1.T:Whohasprepared some words ending with“le”?Let’s share them.

2.You can read some words.Now look at the two lines words.What have you found?

lake,late,lamp,left,

apple,people,purple,simple.

T:Lake,late,“l”is put in front of the words.We spell l/l/.It’s very easy to spell.Look at the second line.Apple,here ple/pl/.So we can read them like:ap-ple,peo-ple,pur-ple,simple.Here are more words,try to read like me.Tem-ple-temple,sim-ple-simple,sam-ple-sa mple.

3.So look at the form here.

Can you join some words together?Forexample:purple temple.People like apples.This is a sample...

T:In this class we learn how to pronouce “ple”,please read the words in the form.

1.Check the words they learned last class.

2.T:In this class,we will learn more words with“-tle”.Look at the first picture.These things all end with “-tle”.Now I will read:bot-tle-bottle,cattle-cattle,set-tle-settle...You try to write the words.After that,show them the second picture and check.

3.T:You can write.Can you read?Let them try to read in groups,then ask some groups to show.

4.Here is a story.In the story,April was able to draw something.What did she draw?At last what happened?Please read and try to tell.

April has a purple table.On her purple table,there is a bottle and a kettle.“I am able to draw a temple on the table.Near the table I am able to draw a herd ofcattle.Some people settle in the temple.”Oh,my god!April,look at your kettle,look at your bottle!

After reading,ask some students to answer the question,then lead to read.And this is their homework:Read it to your friends or your parents after this class.

1.T:Last class,we learned some words with “-tle”.Can you speak some of them?

2.This class we will learn some words ending with“-dle”.How to read?Yes,/dl/.Look,let’s spell them together:needle-needle,noo-dle-noodle,candle-candle,mid-dle—middle,riddle-riddle,ad-dle-addle,paddle-paddle,pud-dle-puddle.

3.So if we use this method to read,we can read and write them more quickly.Now let’s look at the picture,try to fill in the blanks.

4.Here are some sentences.Can you read asquicklyas possible?Let’s read.

I can read middle,riddle,needle as quickly as possible.

I can read noodle,needle,candle as quickly as possible.

I can read addle,paddle,peddle as quickly as possible.

5.Good.Hereisa story.Two of you can prepare it,one is the turtle,and the other is the little lamb.Next class show it.Little turtle satin a puddle.Little lambcame. “That’s my puddle.”“But that’s impossible.”“You addle turtle.It’s simple.I settle here,and I put the puddle here.”Little lamb gaggled.

1.First ask two groups to show their play.

2.We have learned“-ble,-ple,-tle,-dle”.Here are some of them.Let’s review:apple,people,purple,temple,simple,sample,able,possible,little,bottle,battle,cattle,settle,needle,noodle,candle,middle,riddle,addle,paddle,puddle.

3.T:In this class,we will go on learning “l”.Look at the screen.

Show “ell”.Can you read?Yes,ell/el/.

Then show“w,f,b,t,s,y,h,d,sh”to students,join and read.

4.When they can read,show them the Chinese meaning.

5.Can you put some words together and make them more meanings?Such as:I sell bells.I sell bells well.I sell bells well in the dell.I sell shell bells well in the dell.I yell when I sell shell bells in the dell.Let me tell you the shell bells I sell smell good.

6.If you can,please write something with theses words.If not,you can prepare what I told you.

1.T:Hello,kids.Last class we learned“-ell“.Can you say some words like tell?Can you say something with these words?Let’s share.

2.T:In this class we will learn more.Look:ill.How to read?Ill/il/.

Then show this picture.I will read,you fill in the blanks.Hill,pill.Good.Let’s write more words.Now listen and write:kill,mill,bill,fill,gill,till.

3.Can you read?Good.Remember what we have learned before?-ble,-tle,-dle,so try to write more words.Let’s have a try:little,able,bottle,cattle,middle.Then check how many can write correctly.

T:Wehavemorewords.Showthem thewordsbelow:drill,trill,chill,chill,hill,mill,pill,till,still,bill,fill,skill,bill,ill,sill,mill,till,gill.Do you want to know their meaning?I hope you can look for them in the dictionary or Baidu dictionary,then you can imitate me to write something.And that’s your homework.
