英语中，含有come的短语有很多。本文拟将初中阶段最常见的come短语做以归纳，以期对同学们的复习有所帮助。

1.come about：发生、产生、造成

How did these differences come about？这些差别是怎样产生的呢？

They didnt know how the change had come about. 他们不知道这个变化是怎样造成的。

2.come across：（偶然）遇见 / 发现

A man was walking through a wood and he came across a wood cutter. 一个人在穿过森林的时候，偶然遇见了一个伐木工人。

I came across an old photo of my grandfather when I was looking for some books. 当我在找一些书的时候，偶然发现祖父的一张旧照片。

3.come true：实现、成为现实

I hope his dream of becoming a scientist will come true. 我希望他当科学家的梦想可以实现。

Your wonderful dream will come true as long as you keep working hard. 只要你不断地努力工作，你的美好梦想终究会实现。

4.come on：赶快、加油、发展、发育、生长

Come on！You will win the match. 加油！你会赢得比赛的。

The baby is coming on well. 那个婴儿发育良好。

5.come out：出版、发表、出来、出现、开花、发芽

When is his new novel coming out？你的新小说何时问世？

The rain stopped and the sun came out. 雨停了，太阳出来了。

I think the rose will come out next week. 我想玫瑰下周就开花了。

6 . come to：苏醒、达到、被想出、来到、共计

In a few moments Mr. Smith suddenly came to. 片刻之后，史密斯先生突然醒来了。

How much does our bill come to？我们的账单总计多少钱？

The idea came to him in his bath. 他洗澡时想出了这个主意。

7.come up with：想出、提出

She came up with a good idea for increasing sales. 她想出了一个增加销量的好主意。

If you cant come up with a way to work out the problem，I will help you. 如果你不能想出办法解决这个问题，我会帮助你。

8.come back：回来、恢复、使回想起

When did you come back yesterday？你昨天什么时候回来的？

Its all coming back to me now. 现在我全都想起来了。

9.come over：过来、顺便来访

You and Mike must come over to my house and see！你和迈克一定要来我家看看。

They went into the shop. The shopkeeper came over and asked if he could help them. 他们走进商店，店主过来问他们要买什么。

10.come from：来自、出生（于）

Where do you come from？你是哪里人？

He comes from Japan. 他来自日本。

11.come by：从旁边走过、得到某物

He came by without a word. 他从我身边走过，一句话也没说。

12.come down：（价格、温度等）降低、下降；坍塌、塌下、落下（雨、雪）

The childs temperature came down in the morning. 孩子的体温在早上降下来了。

The rain came down in torrents. 天下着倾盆大雨。

13.come along：走来、一道来

Thank you，doctor. Come along，Tom. 谢谢，医生。汤姆，走吧！

He came along with us. 他是和我们一起来的。

14.come round：走过来、前来

The conductor is coming round. 列车员往这边走过来。

Hes coming round to get her quite soon. 他很快就会过来接她的。

15.come upon / on：偶然遇到 / 碰上

He came on an old friend that day when he visited the club. 那天他参观那家俱乐部时，无意中碰到了一位老朋友。
